Caritas

On 8th of November 2013 typhoon Haiyan ravaged the Philippines with winds of 348 km/h.

-Caritas gave lots of supplies such as food, water, tarpaulins, nails, hammers and many other things. They then cleaned up the mess (response).

-Caritas then began to rebuild the broken houses with fallen coconuts trees. They began to sew seeds and shops then begin to reopen (recover).

-Caritas then built the houses with metal straps and gave them stronger foundations. They also gave them access to cleaner water (reduce impact).

-They then built a new typhoon shelter (readiness).
